ALPS Liaison Team Member

If you enjoy taking ALPS classes this is your opportunity to help with the organizational aspects of the program by serving as a Liaison for one of the courses. This means you will be in touch with the presenter ahead of time, arrange for any special needs, introduce the presenter at the first class and generally be the face of ALPS during this class.

Detailed Description: 
You will contact the Presenter a week or so ahead so they will know you will be there on the first day of class, get trained in opening and closing the building including location of heat, lights etc. On the first day you will arrive early and turn up the heat and lights as needed, welcome the Presenter and introduce them to the facility, make sure the room is set up properly, put out the donation jar, set up mic if needed, be prepared to handle disruptive people if necessary, count participants, help clean up at end, count money in donation jar and deposit in Office safe, turn out lights, lock up as needed.
